Sở TN&MT TP.HCM vừa cung cấp thông tin liên quan Công ty TNHH Một thành viên Thảo Cầm Viên Sài Gòn có địa chỉ số 2 Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm, phường Bến Nghé, quận 1, TP.HCM (gọi tắt là Thảo Cầm Viên Sài Gòn) nợ tiền thuê đất khoảng 800 tỉ đồng. Theo Sở TN&MT, Thảo Cầm Viên Sài Gòn hoạt động theo mô hình tổ chức kinh tế, sử dụng khu đất công trình công cộng và có hoạt động kinh doanh (bán vé vào cổng tham quan). Do vậy, căn cứ Luật Đất đai năm 2013 quy định: Nhà nước cho thuê đất đối với tổ chức kinh tế sử dụng đất xây dựng công trình công cộng có mục đích kinh doanh. Ngày 4-12-2014, UBND TP đã ban hành Quyết định số 5218 cho Thảo Cầm Viên Sài Gòn thuê đất tại số 2 Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm, phường Bến Nghé, quận 1 để sử dụng vào mục đích công cộng với chế độ thuê đất trả tiền thuê đất hằng năm. Thời hạn sử dụng đất là 50 năm kể từ ngày TP ký quyết định cho thuê đất.
