Overseas education loans also known as foreign education loans are the loans offered by banks or other monetary establishments for education in foreign countries. It is usually secured or unsecured and anything can be financed which encompasses tuition fees, accommodation, travel costs, and books among others. Many banks also offer special grace periods during which upon completion of the course the student can start repaying the loan.
The government’s PAVE initiative for 2025–26 supports EV adoption. Applicants can register online with CNIC, upload documents, and apply for subsidies on electric bikes, loaders, and rickshaws. The platform also offers application tracking, online balloting, and installment payment options.
