Who can help you happy? “Happy” is a special feeling or emotion that human always want to own. It can be happen in instant time, moment or long time depend on events, places and partners. I haven’t remembered how many times I feel happy during my life. But there are some special memories that imprinted in my mind. - The first time I became a number 1 excellent pupil of grade 1 of primary school and I stood in front of all teachers and pupils for getting Certificate of Merit from Headmaster. I was happy very much and it was long happy and pround because I was only a child. - When I was in childhood, my family is so poor, I only was given new clothes at New Year Holiday. When I got it from parent, I was happy and wore it during Tet. - When I was in grade 4, I won the provincial excellent students and are moved to the aptitude school. It is a happiness not only for me but also for parent and family. I always tried my best during my childhood for studying and getting good results. - When I became a student at University, with my best effort, I received a full scholarship to abroad for 5 year studying. It was the most happiness at that time. But when I went to work, the happiness or happy moment was not only awards or new clothes. Ðề: Học tiếng anh theo topic mỗi tuần TOPIC 4: POLLUTION "Pollution" – a noun and a verb become more familiar with people all over the world. Day by day, on magazines, they tell about “pollution” from air pollution, atmospheric pollution, water pollution, traffic pollution, construction pollution and even health pollution to food contamination or sound pollution. AIR & ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION Exhaust fumes is the main cause of air pollution. Every day, factories, manufacturing facilities, especially industrial areas emit huge emissions, most of them does not filter but also emit directly into the air. Besides, dirty smokes from vehicles (motorcycles, cars, trucks, containers, excavators, bulldozers…) also contributed to an atmosphere of increasing dust. Air pollution causes respiratory diseases for human, special workers who are working in manufacturings, factories in industrial zones. WATER POLLUTION Waste water and sewage is the main cause of water solution. Every day, factories and manufacturing facilities put out huge waste water, some of them was treated before return to water source but most of them does not treat because factories do not want to pay fee for doing it. Nowadays, rural areas also increased production such as pigs, chickens using industrial methods. Waste products from livestock and poultry are often discharged directly into the rivers, ponds, lakes make water sources in rural areas serious contaminated. Water Pollution causes many skin diseases and digestive diseases. TRAFFIC POLLUTION I am not sure in developed countries how many motorbikes but in my countries – a developing country, most people use motorbikes for moving. In Hochiminh city and Hanoi capital, 2 biggest & most development areas, roads and ways still are small and population still not rich. Motorbikes is common vehicles that people use. In the rush hours, huge motobikes moving on roads and waste gases cover everywhere. CONSTRUCTION POLLUTION. I used to visit Shanghai. I wonder why shanghai is building underground road and many high building but I haven’t seen dirty. In Hanoi, when they build any things, waste and dirty cover widely and effect to many people who live near there or moving through there. SOUND POLLUTION I said that sound can also be contaminated for several reasons. The rush hour of traffic, the sound from the engine and the whistle of motorcycles, cars, trucks or ambulances mixed with the music opened maximum volume of shops on either side make people feel painful. Youth increasingly popular floor music, dance or bar music and some young musician compose market musics and they are no meaningful, only include bunch of noise. Hearing and listening music of sound pollution, people can be ear diseases as hearing loss or tinnitus or worse may be deaf. FOOD CONTAMINATION/FOOD POLLUTION There are many reasons that cause food contamination as the manufacturers use toxic chemicals or preservatives. The sellers preserver food wrong method or not according to the standard. They put fresh food in direct contact with smoke, dust and chemicals with fly, dung-fly and insect surrounded. So, food rancid easily and contain many pathogens. HEALTH POLLUTION All above pollutions (air, water, traffic, construction, sound and food pollution…) are the cause of pollution on human health. Every day, people breathe polluted air, drink disclean water, heard a lot of noise, lost in the smoke and dust from construction, traffic jams and eat rancid foods. Therefore, diseases incease daily and more serious diseases such as cancer, cerebral vascular accident, cardiovascular accident…
Ðề: Học tiếng anh theo topic mỗi tuần Hehe, I just wrote it. Any mems have more ideas or opinions for my topic? Please add for me! Together better English!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ðề: Học tiếng anh theo topic mỗi tuần Hi everybody, This morning, teacher Lili corrected topic for me already. Please reference it: POLLUTION "Pollution" – a noun and a verb with which people all over the world are beoming familiar. Daily the media informs us about pollution – in the air, in the atmosphere, in the water. We also suffer from sound pollution caused by traffic and construction, and health pollution produced by food contamination. AIR & ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION: Exhaust fumes is the main cause of air pollution. Every day, factories, manufacturing facilities especially in industrial areas, emit huge not filtered emissions (gases and waste) directly into the air. Additionally, vehicles (motorcycles, cars, trucks, containers, excavators, bulldozers…) dirty the air and the atmosphere by exhaust and emissions, causing respiratory problems and diseases for mankind, particularly those who work in industrial zones. WATER POLLUTION: The disposal of waste in water and poor sewage systems contribute to the pollution of water. Everyday, factories and manufacturing facilities dispose of huge amounts of waste in the water, and most of the waste is not properly managed or regulated because the owners of the factories and manufacturing facilities do no want to incur/pay fees. Nowadays, rural areas also adding to pollution because of the way they slaughter livestock. They contaminate the waters by dumping the waste from their killings into the rivers, ponds, and lakes, and this water pollution is causing many skin and digestive diseases. TRAFFIC POLLUTION: I am not sure how more developed countries handle traffic and the pollution it causes, but in Vietnam most people travel by motorbike, and the volume of emissions is frightening. In Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the two biggest and populated areas in our country, the roads are still narrow and some are unpaved, and during rush hours, the number of motorbikes on the streets is incredibly high. The air, as a result, is filthy from the exhaust from their engines. CONSTRUCTION POLLUTION: I used to visit Shanghai and wondered about its underground transportation system (subway), which seems to help keep the air cleaner, despite the vast number of skyscrapers. In Hanoi, we do not have a subway and when we build anything, the waste from the construction pollutes everything. SOUND POLLUTION: The level of noise is really painful here in Hanoi. During rush hour, the sound of the traffic, mixed with all the other sounds from human interaction, hurts the ear. And the sound of music, which is becoming more popular and sometimes sounds like noise, is also contributing to sound/noise pollution, which is causing different kinds of hearing problems. FOOD CONTAMINATION/FOOD POLLUTION: Food contamination is the result of food manufacturers using toxic chemicals as preservatives and not maintaining high standards of sanitation. The manufacturers are not preserving food according to the best (healthiest) methods and legal standards/codes. Fresh food is placed in direct contact with smoke, dust, chemicals, and insects and their waste, so it becomes rancid and dangerous to eat. HEALTH POLLUTION All types of pollutions harm human life. Every day, people breathe polluted air, drink unclean water, and hear too much noise, become lost in the smoke and dust from construction and rush of traffic jams, and eat rancid foods. Therefore, the volume and severity of human diseases increase daily. This is a very well-thought out and thought-provoking essay. Your writing improves with each new assignment.

Ðề: Học tiếng anh theo topic mỗi tuần HI EVERYBODY, I AM NOT GOOD AT LITERATURE, SOCIOLOGY & PHILOSOPHY. REASON WHY IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO WRITE THIS TOPIC. MY RESULT HERE: TOPIC 5 WHAT DOES THE INDIVIDUAL OWES SOCIETY? & WHAT DOES SOCIETY OWES THE INDIVIDUAL? Definition by Wikipedia: A society, or a human society, is a group of people related to each other through persistent relations, or a large social grouping sharing the same geographical or virtual territory, subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations. Human societies are characterized by patterns of relationships (social relations) between individuals who share a distinctive culture and institutions; a given society may be described as the sum total of such relationships among its constituent members. In the social sciences, a larger society often evinces stratification and/or dominance patterns in subgroups. I/ What does society owes the individual? Society is very large and big, includes all countries in our planet. But I only talk about Vietnam society where I was born, I am living and working now. I am lucky when I was born in peaceful country called The Socialist Republic of Vietnam. My country – the socialist nation, has only a single party is the Communist Party of Vietnam. Vietnam society ownes the private culture, tradition, manners & customs. Vietnam government & parliament built legislation, code, regulatory rules or discipline… They are revised periodically through the parliamentary session. They effect and influence to Vietnamese people from children to elders and foreigners who is livng and working in Vietnam. When I was born, every wars has ended. Vietnam Society gave me peaceful childhood. I was protected by Protecting Children Right “Every child has right to be educated” or “Every child can go to school”. Therefore, I was educated in public schools & universities. I studied 9 months per year with 5 day per week. I had 3 holiday months with a lot of memories. At that time, I saw, all children as me. When I became adult after 18th birthday, I must obey the laws of Vietnam and take responsibilities what I have been done. When I go abroad, I must conform immigration law. When I work in anywhere, I has protected by economic law, labour law, civil law….When I get married, I must obey and has proteced by marriage law…. 10 recent years, information technology has developing and growing, I used a lot of gadgets and social networks. Information & Communication Law was launched to protect the rights and the responsibility for the users. Rapid social development, global economic expansion and connectivity, money management and financial law also adjusted accordingly. I was used ATM for keeping and controlling money and internet banking… Recently, super markets and shopping malls open to everywhere with imported goods and domestic goods. When I buy anything, the consumer protection laws take effect to me. Society take a lot of utilities for me with its right. Means that, the society, through the act of culture, defines rights, duties and regulatory rules of human interaction. It even defines the basis for every individual's view of the society, the world and the universe. Although some individuals may break loose from this imposed basis, ignores the basis and acts against it (example crimes, robber, thief…), they will be punished by laws depend on their mistakes eg go to prison (short time, long time or imprisonment), death sentence… Besides, society ownes many associations or organizations which can effort or help disabilities people, poor people or children, woman…for theirlife better. II/ What does the individual owes society? Each invidual’ action always effects to society, it can be positive or passive. It can be good or bad. The individuals who are in senior positions as President, Prime Minister or senior leaders in government offices effect directly to society in developing orientation of economics, social, culture, tourism, … Some individuals who are not senior but have special abilities in different areas also have a direct impact on society, e.g famous actors or actresses, athletes, football palyers… "Do not ask what the country has done for us. Please ask what we have done for the country". I learnt it when I was a pupil in High School. When I was a child, I tried to study to become a good or excellent pupil. When I became an adult, with youth, I join NGOs for helping poor children. Because each person or individual is a small part of society, when I helped or efforted anyone, I effected to society. I have been tried to obey Vietnam laws to become a good citizen. But some other individuals can: - violate or infringe upon traffic regulations cause accidents or traffic jam, - violate marriage law bring out disterupt other people; - littering to the streets or public places bring out unsanitary - stealing petty or murder to robbery cause threatening others III/ CONCLUSION The relationship between the individual and society are closely interactive relationships can not be separated. Dominant society and affects individuals living in its scope and the actions of each individual has a direct or indirect impact on the society in which he lived. For society is always nice, the individual must comply with the laws, regulations, procedures and culture in which they live. When society is nice, the life of the individual will be better.
Ðề: Học tiếng anh theo topic mỗi tuần AND MY TEACHER CORRECTED IT FOLLOW AS: TOPIC 5 WHAT DOES THE INDIVIDUAL OWE SOCIETY, & WHAT DOES SOCIETY OWE THE INDIVIDUAL? Definition by Wikipedia: A society, or a human society, is a group of people related to each other through persistent relations, or a large social grouping sharing the same geographical or virtual territory, subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations. Human societies are characterized by patterns of relationships (social relations) between individuals who share a distinctive culture and institutions; a given society may be described as the sum total of such relationships among its constituent members. In the social sciences, a larger society often evinces stratification and/or dominance patterns in subgroups. I/ What does societies owe the individual? A society is usually a very large network of people, and societies exist all over the world. I know only about Vietnamese society, into which I was born and where I now live and work. I was lucky that I was born when my country was at peace and had the new name of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam. A socialist nation, Vietnam has only one political or party, the Communist Party. Our society respects privacy, tradition, and manners and customs. Our parliament provides our legislation and laws, which are revised periodically and affect everyone who lives and works in Vietnam. When I was born, the war has ended, and I enjoyed a peaceful childhood. Because of the laws protecting children, I was educated in public schools & universities. I studied 9 months a year, 5 days a week. I had 3-months holidays, from which I gathered/collected a lot of memories. At that time, I connected or related to every kid I saw. When I became a legal adult on my 18th birthday, I understood that I had to obey the laws of Vietnam and take responsibility for my actions. I realized that many laws protect me, including those supervising my job and those protecting my domestic life. In the last ten years information technology has been developing and growing. I used to own a lot of gadgets and participate in many social networks, and I feel the Information & Communication Law protects me, like other users of the Internet. I enjoy Internet banking and ATM cards, shop at shopping malls with imported goods and know consumer protection laws protect me. Society governs many people. The culture of society shapes a lot of human action, setting rules and regulations and defining the norms. Although some individuals break lose from society, I am only concerned with those that ignore the law. I believe they should be punished according to the laws. I am particularly interested in how society helps the disadvantaged, those who lack resources or are disabled. II/ What does the individual owes society? Every individual action matters and affects society. When people behave badly or act in a too passive way, society often suffers. I think it is important that our leaders guide us through the changes that happen in society so that we do not neglect any of the aspects of our culture and allow them to suffer. I also think that individual with special abilities or fame, have a certain impact on our society. "Do not ask what the country has done for us. Please ask what we have done for the country". I learned it when I was a pupil in High School. President John F. Kennedy said it. When I was a child, I tried to study to become a good or excellent pupil. When I became a young adult, I joined a NGO that helped poor children. I think everyone has to be responsible and follow the laws the government sets. I think it is good that we have laws about traffic, marriage, littering, theft and murder. III/ CONCLUSION The relationship between the individual and society is closely interwoven, and they interact and function as one. What one does affects the other, and visa versa. If society prospers, then each individual prospers.

Ðề: Học tiếng anh theo topic mỗi tuần TOPIC FOR THIS WEEK: VIETNAM WOMAN’S DAY: OCTOBER 20 I/ HISTORY OF VIETNAMESE WOMAN’S DAY: OCTOBER 20 Vietnam Woman’s Day was started by Uncle Ho (President Ho Chi Minh) when he sent a letter to Vietnamese women in Octoeber 20, 1930 thus giving women a day of special treatment. The Party and late President Ho Chi Minh always praised women’s role and position in different revolutionary periods. Ho Chi Minh once said the landscape of Vietnam has been embroidered by Vietnamese women, old and young, to become ever more beautiful. In his immortal testament left to the entire Party and people before passing away, he wrote that during the anti-American resistance war for national salvation, Vietnamese women made a worthy contribution to the struggle for national independence and construction. The Party and Government now need to work out a practical plan to help women engage in all activities, including assuming leadership roles. Women on their part must make a greater effort, he emphasised. After 40 years of implementing Ho Chi Minh’s testament, the Vietnam Women’s Union has united women of all social sections to carry out various programmes to ensure women’s legitimate rights and interests. So far, women’s union chapters throughout the country have lent nearly VND30,000 billion to millions of women to help them develop production and business and improve their living standards. Evaluating activities run by the Vietnam Women’s Union’s in the recent past, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Doan Thanh says that the union’s movements have brought Uncle Ho’s testament to life, inspiring women’s creativity and tapping their potential for building a happy life and culturally rich community. Nowadays, Vietnamese women continue to overcome difficulties and challenges while taking part in every sphere of social life and holding important positions in the State apparatus. They account for more than 27 percent of National Assembly (NA) deputies (the highest level in Asia and one of the highest rates of female NA deputies in the world) Women leaders make up 12 percent in the centrally-run sector, 14 percent in other sectors and 40 percent in small-sized enterprises. Since its founding in 2003, the Vietnam Women Prize Fund has awarded 64 outstanding collectives and individuals. Dozens of women collectives and individuals have received the Kovalevskaia prize for their outstanding achievements in scientific research and application. The role of Vietnamese women has greatly improved in the international arena. To further create favourable conditions for women to contribute to society, the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) has helped women improve their qualifications. Ms Tran Thi Lan, a member of the VWU Central Committee says that the committee has devised effective solutions to improve its staff’s capacity and train women in accordance with the regulations of the Law on Civil Servants. The union will provide training courses for women to broaden their latest knowledge and sharpen their working skills. Apart from making active contributions to society, women have well performed their role in family affairs, especially in raising their children and preserving the happiness of their dear ones. On the occasion of Vietnam Women’s Day, we wish that Vietnamese women will continue to fulfil their tasks and contribute more effectively to the country’s modernization and industrialization for a prosperous and civilized nation. II/ ACTIVITIES IN VIETNAMESE WOMAN’S DAY Since Vietnam Women’s day was first celebrated in 1930, it has been an occasion for men to express their love for women. It is also seen as an important reminder of women’s role in the society in which we criticize the issue of gender inequality, sexual violence, discrimination or sexual harassment. What men are doing during Vietnamese woman’s day? 1. Women cook and do housework everyday but on Women's day, it's men's duties (not compulsory but any man who loves their wife enough will do so) 2. In office, Women will receive lot of flower, wishes from male colleagues, sometimes a company dinner which bosses foot the bill. 3. Women say Right means it's right. If it's not right, look back at the first statement..... October 20 is observed annually as Vietnamese Women’s Day to highlight their role and status in the struggle for the nation’s revolutionary cause as well as its renovation process.
