On one hand, I understand the differences women face vs men regarding the danger of meeting with strangers. On the other hand, some want to chat for SO LONG before meeting that there’s nothing left to talk about when we do meet! And that we’ve built up potentially false images and intimacy of each other which will lead to disappointment! We can be whoever we want to be through text. In person is the real “us”. I’ve thought about maybe asking to just FaceTime to cut through the BS and let them decide whether they’d like to meet or not? What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
