I've been thinking a lot about long-term financial planning for my family, especially now that my kids are starting school. Tuition fees, healthcare, extracurricular activities... everything costs more than I expected.

I usually manage our monthly budget with an Excel spreadsheet, but it still feels like something’s missing. Do any of you use apps or other methods to keep track and prepare for big upcoming expenses?

Also, do you think it's worth getting professional advice to help build a long-term financial plan? I’ve heard that in other countries, many people work with personal finance experts.
