POLAR BEARS
I want to tell you about the Polar bears. I knew them through the animal world chanel on TV. After watching that programme I felt very excited and impressed with these bears.
Polar bears live in the territory of different countries (on the coast of northern and northwestern Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway and Russia). Polar bears are typical examples of an animal perfectly adapted to the environment. They are recognized quickly by their white coat color. Unlike other mammalian animals which living near the poles, they never molt to become darker in summer. In fact, their fur is not white.
An interesting characteristics of their hairs is that they appear black when photographed with light purple.
They have an 10 cm thick layer that keep their body warm in cool weather. They do not have eyelashes, because the eyelashes can be frozend when temperatures below 0 ° C.
Their main food is seals. They often find prey in summer and spring season. In winter, they can not eat food because their fat layer is the energy for themselves. They can swim from land to the sea for many miles.
Polar bears skin is very valuable, it can be used to make the gloves, boots and clothings..ect…They are also usually known for the humorous actions and entertaining – photogenic such as when they fight or dip each other into the water that they look very funny and adorable.

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention, one of which is that a country hosting a major sports competition.
A sizable percentage of people take the view that it is good for a country to host a major sport competition. Firstly, when a country take the right to host a major sport competition, it means that this country was recognized by others country. In addition, this country can promote its image to the people around the world. Therefore, this country attracts tourist and foreign investment to develop its economic. Up to the present, most of countries which hosted World Cup, its economic achieved high growth. For example, GDP’s USA grew by 1.4% in 1994, French’s increased 3% in 1998 and 1.6% was the percentage of growth Germany’s economic in 2006.
However, there are people who think it causes many problems for the host country. The country that hosts a major sport competition, has to invest large amount of money to prepare infrastructure. With this money, we can improve health and education services in the country. Moreover, when a country hosts a major competition, travelers from everywhere will come to and it makes the arising of the problems of keeping the public order. Extremist fans can cause the fight so the image of country will be dirty.
After the careful consideration of the above reasons, I, personally, stand on the side of the advocates. Hosting a major sport competition is helpful for the country about the economic, image of country. The benefits that it brings are more than the problems that it could causes.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that it is good for a country to host a major sports competition.

In the world of wildlife each species has characteristics to help them survive and cope with the harsh conditions of nature. Well, as you can probably guess, I am fairly keen on dolphin.
I suppose if I had to describe dolphin, the first thing I should mention is that dolphin is the smartest and the most wonderful wild animal. They are mammals which usually live in ocean. In addition, the common dolphin is a combination of dark gray with white.
The most important characteristic is that they are endowed with the sixth sense which help them located in sea. The dolphins have the ability to emit ultrasonic waves and feel the waves bounce off to “paint” the surrounding terrain and detect prey. They communicate together by sound to coordinate in the process of hunting.
Another significant characteristic is that they are good swimmers in sea with speeds up to 15 meters per second. Finally, they are not only the loyal friends with people in sea but also the lovely circus actors with real great talent.
I have ever seen them in ocean but I sometimes watch them in circus performing programs and discovery channel in television or their information in internet.
I guess the reason why I’m a fan of dolphins is because I really adore their intelligence and companionship with people.

Right, ok. I’m quite a big fan of fireflies. Well you know, they are small insectes with four wings, and what wonderful they are, in the dark, you can see they like shining points. Of course, they are very beautiful..
Well, you might not know this, when I was a child, my hometown still had many trees, and it’s a good condition for firefly develop. And it’s easy to understand that in that time, there are many fireflies. I’d love to tell you about my childhood with grandmother who tell me many stories about poor pupils. They use fireflies like a lamp to study. You know, it’s so amazing. And after that, I begin feel excited about fireflies.
Acctually, they are insects active at night. And you know, the light has an important role in their reproduction. Having light help male fireflies attract female fireflies. With small fireflies, having light help them to avoid their enemies.
Of course, you know, in summer, many kinds of flowers are in bloom. It’s easy for fireflies to find their food.
Nowadays, in my hometown as well as many areas, there are a few fireflies, and it’s very necessary for us to mention more.

Part 2 : Describe a wild animal that you find particularly interesting

The animal I’d like to tell is firefly. Well you know, it is a kind of insects and that’s why their body is very very small. In fact, it measures about 1 centimeter. There are many species of firefly found in temperate and tropical zone. In many species, both male and female fireflies have the ability to fly, but in some species females are flightless. Normally, they use their light to attract mates or prey and of course firefly produces a "cold light". Actually, the most commonly known fireflies are nocturnal, though there are numerous species that are diurnal. I remember the first time I saw it is that I went out and played with my friends at the paddy-field near my house. At that time, I felt curious about the twinkle light of them. I guess the reason why I am interested in the animal is because their lights are very nice and I am amazed at the legend that your wishes reach God if you see fireflies when you set a miniature boat adrift and one day, maybe I try it.

Right, ok, in general I should say that one of the wild animals which really let me make a fuss over is the owl. The point I’d like to begin is that I started caring about this animal after reading an American famous set of fictitious stories – Harry Porter. I have spent lots of time to surf internet to look for more information and discover many things about this animal amorously. You may not be aware but in fact owls are birds of nocturnal prey. I suppose there are at least 200 species of owls. They normally feed on small animals, insects, fish, and other birds. One thing that should be mentioned is the layer of feather inside their wings helps to control maximally the sound of flying action so they can be the dangerous hunters at night. Owls do not make nests, instead sheltering inside trees, ground burrows, caves, and barns, or using other birds' old nests. As well as I could say that besides the effect of delivering ingoing and outgoing mail in the stories of Harry, in fact, owls have an important role to both human and environment. Because their favorite foods are insects and rats, the owls may take control the species that harm people’s livings which destroy crop, ruin objects in your house, make diseases etc…, therefore, they can protect our life and keep the balance of ecosystem usefully. So actually, I am truly keen on owls as they are lovely and unharmed, especially, I love the snowy owls most because of their brilliant beauty.

The small insect and everywhere that I like is the butterfly. It has many species, has less color, more color also. It lives near the bushes. Wing of it are constantly changing color and sparkling move. The top of the wing is gray or brown, the bottom of the wing is colorful, that is what make people like it. The dark color at the top use to mask and avoid enermy. The color flower often more attract them. It food is the secret inner sepals. Some of the other eat food from carcassess or animal waste.
Each butterfly has four wings, but it act as a pair. Butterfly wings slowly about 20 times a second. However, has many species fly ver fast anh strong. For example, Comma butterfly can fly from the Sahara to England about 2000 miles in 14 days. Around us, has a lot of butterflies, but them are not realy beautiful, beautiful butterfly usualy live in mountainous regions we can see them in the garden, on TV, internet. I like them beacause of the gentle, the color of them and they help pollinate flower.

The animal I find very interesting is the panda. Panda origin from China. They tend to live in Tay Tang and Tu Xuyen, China. Panda is also the symbol of WWF (world wide fund for nature). At the end of 20th century, Panda is also the status of China and Now the imagine of them is printed on gold penny of China. Althought panda’s food is from plant, it is classed in carnivora. They eat green branches and leaves and mainly live on bamboos. Besides, they also eat eggs and a few of insects Which is sources to supply protein for them. Panda produces lowly and the died newborn rate is higher than the others. Moreover, they are big slowly and mature lately When they are 4-5 year old. The season of reproduction begin from march to may. In this time, from 2 to 5 males will fight to reach one female and only one male which can be copulated with one female, is the winner. The first time I looked at panda when I went to the Thu Le zoo with my parent in 2000. I love to the way that panda caress each others.

Well to be honest, in general I would say that I’m actually quire keen on Alaskan Malamute. The Alaskan Malamute is the largest of the Arctic sled dogs. They have a thick, double coat and plush undercoat that helps keep them warm in extremely cold temperatures in Alaskan. The usual colors are various shades of gray and white, sable and white, black and white, red and white or solid white. Their eyes are medium size, almond-shaped and dark brown. Actually, their eyes are “wolf-like” but the dog’s expression is soft. And you know, Alaskan Malamute is extremely loyal and intelligent, sweet and most affectionate toward it’s master. In addition to what I’ve just said, I can add that they have strength, endurance with a will to work. They pulled not only light traveling sleds, but they also hauled heavy loads of food and supplies for the Arctic people. The first time I got to know Alaskan Malamute was when I watched the movie “Eight Below”. The dogs show their affection for their teammates and the way they save people from danger. They are amazing dogs! I guess that is the reason why I’m a quire a big fan of Alaskan Malamute. Therefore, I always want one for my own.
