The diagram reveals the design of a thermos flask with the function of keeping hot water for a long time.
The thermos flask has a cylindrical shape with an average height of 30-40 centimeters and consists of two main layers. The inner layer which contains water is made of glass. The glass is enveloped with silver so that less infrared radition can pass outside. The space between the two layers, the vacuum flask, is empty of any substance in order to prevent heat loss. The capability of keeping the water warm is also improved by a poor conductor near the vacuum flask. Moreover, there is a special part that supports insulation at the bottom of the thermos flask.
The outer case is of either metal or plastic to protect the inner layer and makes the shape of the thermos flask. On the top of the outer case is a cap to cover up, which is usually made of plastic. In additional, there is always a plastic cup above the cap used to drink. However, some heat loses here.
With this suitable format, the thermos flask is widely used in household to maintain water at warm temperature.

A diagram reviews the structure of a thermos flask which is used for retaining temperature of hot fluid in a number of hours.
The thermos bottle which is cylinder in shape and 30 to 40 centimeters in height can be divided into 2 main parts :an inside case-a vaccum flask and an outer case. The surface of the former is covered with a thin glass envelope-silvered to help with reducing the effect of the infrared radiation.Between the inner and the outer wall is a vaccum,which is a poor conductor, does a good job at slowing down the movement of heat. At the bottom of the vacuum flask is an insulated support attaching two cases. Besides a doubled-wall container is a plastic cup which is very useful if you don't have a cup available. However,to limit some lost heat when opening the lid, there is a cap which is usually made of plastic between the body and the lit.

The diagram reveals how a thermos flask keeps the hot liquid for several hours. The thermos flask height is about 30-40 centimeters. Outer case of it is made of metal or plastic. Inside, hot liquid is hold of inner hub which is built from glass. The glass envelop is plated with silver in order not lose to the heat of solution through infrared radiation. Between two stratum is the vacuum flask which is completely empty of all air or other gas. The function of vacuum is the same of glass envelope silvered. That’s the reason why the temperature of solution is reduced slowly. At the bottom of thermos flask, it is a insulated support which assist to maintain high temperature. The top of the thermos flask is covered by the cap which is usually produced from plastic. When it is opened so that the heat of liquid is lost. There is also a plastic cup which can be used to drink.

The picture reveals the structure of a thermos of hot water. Firstly, it has the function to keep hot water for a period of time. Second, for size, it is designed high from 30 to 40 cm. Third, for structure, the outer coating usually is made of metal or plastic. The next is a nonconductor layer to reduce heat transfer out. The container of fluid substance inside is produce by glass, and it is coated a silver layer to protest the effects of infrared. At the bottom glass bottle, the support is contrived to confine the impingement between glass ones and metal cover. The top of jar is closed by a plastic cap. However this is where the temperature is lost. Finally, there is always a plastic cup on the top, it is made by plastic, and it has two uses: one of them is cap, also another way is a water cup. The hot water urn is so effective when we need to keep hot water in a few hours. In addition, we can use the cover like as a cup to drink. Therefore, the thermos flask is an indispensable material in each family.

Thermos’s main purpose is keep heat of liquid in several hours. Its high is around 30 – 40 centime. Firstly, top of it, there is a plastic cup and sometime water is poured in to this cup to drink. Secondly, under the cup, a part of this equipment is called cap and is usually made from plastic. Moreover the most heat of liquid lost here.
Thirdly, this equipment has two layers. One of them is outer case. It is produced from two materials that are plastic or metal. The thermos flask is not broken with its protection. Beside the outer case is a vacuum flask which all of the art. Near the vacuum flask is poor conductor. Heat of liquid is limited to lose with both the vacuum flask and the poor conductor. The glass envelope is covered with silvered. There is less infrared radiation

Hi Mrs. Thuy! I'm Tung from E53 class. This is my writing task 1:

The graph shows Underground Station Passenger Numbers in London.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words. You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.


The line chart below shown clearly about the changes in number of passengers of a subway in London at a period time from 6.00 to 22.00. At the beginning, the passengers rapidly increase from 100 to 400 just in 2 hours. After that, at 8.00, this number significantly falls to under 200, since that until 14.00, the number of people who travel by trains gradually goes up to 300. Then it suddenly drops down to approximate 100 passengers at 16.00 which are much lower than others. However, over two hours later, there is a rocketing with nearly 400 of passengers. From 18.00 to 20.00, it then sharply decline to 120 people. At the end of the day, the number of passenger does not have much change which is steady around 150. In conclusion, the quantity of commuter has many convulsions. The rush hours are around 8.00 in the morning and 18.00 at night; the sparse time of a day is about 16.00. This ends my report here.

Chi Thuy oi, em Kim Ngoc E53 post bai Writing Task 1 - Music sites

The graph illustrates the frequencies of accessing musical websites namely Music Choice and Pop Parade.

One of the first things to note is that Pop Parade was almost more favorite site than the remaining was. For example, during the first week, although the figures of visitors into Pop Parade suffered remarkable decrease from 120.000 and sank to low point of 30.000, they were always higher than the figures of Music Choice that were experienced a period of erratic behaviors roundly 20.000 – 40.000.

Another thing which stands out in this graph is that the second week recorded wild fluctuations of the number of visitors in both of sites. After fluctuated around low points in the next few days, figures of visitors suddenly leaped new peaks at approximately 150.000 in Pop Parade and 120.000 in Music Choice. Moreover, data in the last four days shows that after dipping, figures of visitors in Pop Parade recovered steadily and reached a new high at the end with nearly 170.000 while the final figure of Music Choice was only 70.000 although it received higher numbers of visitors in two days such as the 12th and the 13th of the survey.

the line chart presents the number of passengers of the tube in London over the period 6:00 to 22:00.Firstly,there was a marked increase in this number between 6:00and 8:00 from 100 to 400.And then passengers decreased rapidly in the next three hours from 400 to under 200.After that,this number rised slightly from approximately 180 to 300 during the period 10:00 to 14:30.And then, from 14:30 to 16:00, it once again fell dramatically,which was lowest.However,this number immediately surged from under 100 to approximately 400 over the next 3,5 hours.And then this number sharply went down to over 100 between18:00 and 20:00.At the end of the day,this number fluctuated around 100 to 150.Generally,the number of passengers in the subway in London changed noticeably, especially between rush hours which is about 6:00 to 8:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.And the other time at which the underground is not so busy.

The graph compares the number of people visiting to two new websites about music. It can be clearly seen that they raised and felt erratically. From the first day to the third day, the number of visitors of Pop parade was constant while the one of Music choice dropped from the first to the second day and rised significantly from the second to the third day. Then, over the period the third day to the nineth day as a whole, there was a sharp decline in the number of people watching the Pop parade and it was similar to the Music choice, but the number of people watching it went down more slowly. Suddenly, the number of visits to the Pop parade rocketed rapidly from the nineth day to the eleventh day. Meanwhile, the Music choice had a slight increase and then had a slight decrease through this period. Between the eleventh day to the twelveth day, there was a rapid fall in the number of people visiting the Pop parade. In contrast, the one of people visiting the Music choice climbed significantly. On the next day, the number of visits to both pages was collapsed steadily. Then they shot up together and reached a maximum at the fourteenth day but the maximum of the Pop parade is higher than the Music choice. After that, on the next day, it recovered slightly with the Pop parade whereas plummeted rapidly with the Music choice.

Topic: The graph shows Underground Station Passenger Numbers in London. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph reveals the number of people using London Underground station hourly from 6:30a.m to 10:30 p.m. It can be clearly seen that there has been rise and fall erratically in the line graph.
At half past six, there are about 100 people gone by subway. The number of people gradually jumps and reaches a peak of 400 at 8:30a.m, when everybody left to their company or school. Since then the number significantly takes a nosedive. At 10:30, the trend slowly surge again before slide down and hitting the bottom, lower than 100 passengers at 16:30. Right after that the trend starts shoot up with the high figure at 18:30. It is the rush hour when most of the offices end the workday. During the period 18:30 to 22:30, the number mostly falls and only rises a little at 21:30.
On average, the number of people uses the public transport, especially subway, rise in the rush hour like when they go to work or go home. This ends my report here.

The line graph reveals how the growth rate in wages between the years 1993 and 2003 in several countries changed.
As an overall view of the data, it can be clearly seen that there was a rise and fall erratically in the percentage of wages during that period. The growth started at 2% in 1993, but it didn’t stay there very long before it rapidly doubled in 1994. After leaping steadly, the wages slightly dived under 3% before jumping slowly again by 4% in 1997. 1998 was the year whose percentage achieved 6%, the highest rate during the period. However, only a year after, it sliped fairly quickly so the rate in 1999 was nearly 3% as high as its in 1996. From 1999 to 2002, the trend of the growth was downwards except a small surge in 2000. Obiviously, the wages deteriorated into the lowest point of just 1 %. Even then, the percentage tended to rise gradually to 2% which equaled to its at the beginning of the first period.
In conclusion, the collection data of the graph shows the fluctuation in the rate of growth in wages in some countries from 1993 to 2003.
