In my country I suppose there are two main kind of newspapers.Firstly the kind focuses on teenage. It is often writed about celebrities, singers and movie stars.you know It aim to entertainment .there are many images in it and the language they use tend to teenage. Secondly the kind focuses on mature people.it is writed about economy, society and politics. You know it brings general information to reader.it often have many words and a few images. So I suppose I would have to say the second ones are more useful than the first one

When I was young and learnt in primary school I was taught some rules about taliking to others. for example when we taking to older person we must have respectly attitude .you know if they are standing we don’t allow to sit during the dialogue .they also taught us that we have wait for our turn to talk. It is very impolite when we interrupt the other while they are talking. I think children should be taught to see in the eyes of person who talks to them. Finnally I suppose that it is very important to children to say “thank you” to show that they are polite person.

I suppose it will have bad effect on childen ‘s writing skill, children spending too much time using computer have consequent the handwriting is very bad I mean it is hard to read..when they get used to typing they will have trouble with using pen and forming a hand letter. They get use to using abbreviation like typing on the computer. Finally words on computer is easy to erase so they will write carelessly. I suppose I would have to say people don’t usually use computer are more carefull than people usually use it.

em Yến Chi nộp bài speaking task 3:
Question 1: what are newspapers like in your coutry?

Well you know, newspapers which supply variety of life’s information are necessary and important for people in Vietnam. However, as society develops, more and more problem about newspapers are brought to our attention. Actually, my initial point would be that there’re a lot of negative issues remaining, for example the untruthful information is inserted , the headline has no concern with contents, etc . Another point which I could add is that the online news occupies more advantages, teenagers are using computer more and if newspaper don’t have some positive changes, I think it can be replaced by online news.

Question2 : tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and when they can’t.

Alright, well in truth, as from knowing to speak, children in my country are taught a lot of the rules about talking. The first thing I should mention to something about politeness. When children talk to adult , they have to talk with status substitutes such as “ vâng, dạ “ etc and say “please, thank you” _things like that. In addition to this , I suppose it’s rude to interrupt people, they should wait because if not, they’ll make other people fretful. Something else that I need to comment on is using a certain volume when children are speaking that it’s rude to speak loudly, to shout out. I guess so it is very important.

Question 3: What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?

Obviously, we can say there are quite a lot of effects with regard to this issues. You know that children’s handwriting skill involve in holding pens and forming letters so I suppose I would have to sat that if they use computer a lot, they won’t want to write by hand. In addition to this , using computer a lot can deteriorate ability of using their language . And I guess this is probably because instead of memorizing correct spelling as people who don’t use computers, they use the computer’s spell check and in fact, they can make more mistakes in dictation.

    E Quang Duc E 51 nộp bài Speaking 9:
2 tuần nay e có việc nên nghỉ hơi nhiều. Chị up bài chuẩn bị tuần tới giúp e nhé.

    I /
    http://www.mediafire.com/?x04zd1daf89zp69

1 / How often do you read books ?
Well to be honest, I think I would have to say that it really depends. Like for instance, if I have the money, then it’s quite possible that I will buy some books I like in the bookshop. You know books are the valuable presents which help me to learn and know more interesting knowledge. I usually read books three times a week or whenever I’m free. Reading books is really one of my favorite hobbies and things like that.
2 / Do you think it’s important for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums ?
Well in actual fact, if I think about it, I guess that in many ways it’s fairly important, especially when you consider that everything in exhibitions or museums can help to develop children’s curiousness. And you also have to understand that they will be excited about beautiful paintings or strange stories. In fact they find out the attractiveness of art and history – I mean, so all in all I guess my answer would have to be yes.
3 / Are libraries in your country more popular now than 10 years ago?
Well you know, if I think about it, I guess that in many ways it’s fairly different, especially when you consider that nowadays everyone always wants to learn and understand much more knowledge of many fields such as sport, economy, education and culture. Documents, newspapers or things like that in libraries can help to add and develop ourselves information. And you also have to understand that in fact libraries is so useful so I guess it’s more popular in both the present and the future. So all in all I guess my answer would have to be yes.
4 / What are the characteristics of a good writer ?
Well as you can probably guess I think there are many characteristics of a good writer
, I suppose if I had to describe them, the first thing I would say is that it’s absolutely romantic, maybe even one of the biggest features I guess. It’s so big in fact that a good writer is usually a person who has abundant imagination and delicate literature. Another significant characteristic is that it offers styles of both attractive and surprise in writing skills. Actually, there are outstanding characteristics – I think so.

    II /
Describe a teacher you really admire.
    You should say :
    Who it is
    Why you like them
How long you have known them
You should also explain what his person taught you.

    http://www.mediafire.com/?fxoshjm0sa3dlu5

Well to be honest, , in general I would say that everyone has studying period with rememberable memories which will go along with them through lifetime. I really admire Mrs Huong - my lovely English teacher. I guess the reason why I’m a fan of her is because I adore her honest beauty and intelligent mind. In addition to her I suppose I’m also pretty passionate about her attractiveness teaching method – you know , especially in training and things like that. She is not only severe but also friendly teacher who loves students with all of her heart. She taught me 4 years at Vietnam Maritime University – I mean, and I really liked English through her interesting teaching measure. In particular I would probably have to say that I deeply impressed by her style is because of hers own surprise, exciting and social characteristics.

    The End. ^ ^

Em Hoài Thu E52 nộp bài ạ:
You know, the press is a source of useful information in Vietnam. In Vietnam there are many different kinds of newspapers and given to different age groups. But society is growing, people are busier, there is no more time to read newspapers. So to attract readers, newspapers have taken the title is not true. But I noticed, the press increasingly commercialized, they advertise more than provide information to the reader.

When I was little, my parents have been taught a few rules when talking to adults. For example, older people have to meet and greet other people have to say thanks for the gift. When my school teacher said not to climb in the class and if you want to say anything to raise your hand for permission. I think it would be rude or impolite if empty children said adults, talking too loud or interrupted the conversation of others.

Clearly, the computer offers many benefits for people, help us to update information quickly. But I do not think the computer can use the writing skills of young. Writing skills of children due to many factors such as how to use combined into a pen, read the documen, putting together the letters ... Writing skills training for children the careful and meticulous. When children use the computer does not need a spelling checker for this was available and we will lose the ability to think, to create.

Em là Bùi Thị Ninh - Lớp E52. Em gửi chị bài speaking.
    1. What are newspapers like in your country?
Well, in my country I suppost two main kinds of newspaper; a kind is black and white and the other is many colors. Infact, the first type often issues everyday. It usually refers to the current issues happening daily in home and in the world. There are some typical newspapers such as The Capital Security , The Economic Time, The Law ..The other often issues at date. This kind is colorful and many images, so you know it is quite nice. Example of this kind is The students newspaper, women newspaper..
    2. Tell the some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and they can’t.
Well, I used to be a children and I was teached many things to speak. One of the things was that I only speak when everybody allow me to speak. In the class, if you want to speak, to ask a question or to say something, you should put your hand up. Actually, when you want to speak something, you have to speak aloudly and clearly. Specially, you have to give careful consideration before speaking. When you receive a gift or help from someone, you should say ‘thank you’. Those are some main rules.
    3. What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
Well I think that using computers will effect badly to writing skills of children. If children spend a lot of time to use Internet, they will no have time to pratice at writing by pen, and forming letters. If the children only send emails, they usually write incomplete sentences. Actually, this is not good. In addition, children use the computer don’t memorize as well as children don’t use computer.

Em Hoa- E52 nộp bài speaking ạ!
    1. What are newspapers like in your country?
Well, in fact, nowadays, there are many newspapers in the communication means, but we can divide them into two basic kinds. First of all, there are official newspapers. You can see that they are official information channels of the government and all of them must be verified before being posted on the newspapers. Thus, it can not be updated as quickly as others.
Secondly, other kind is non – official newspapers or gutter-presses. This information of them is usually updated timely and abundant. However, most of them reveal gossips and are not checked in the strict such as individual stories of stars.

    2. Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and when they can’t.
Well, you might not know this but my country has still many traditional customs such as the rules about wearing and talking, specially talking knowledge. Children have learned the essential rules in communication since they started learning how to speak. They were taught that not interrupt when adults were talking and not chat in the class. If they want to tell some things, they can wait or put hand up. Nevertheless, when someone asks, they have to answer and have to thank for giving presents.

    3. What effects do you think the using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
Well, to be honest, I should really say that computers are popular now and children are used them early. This affects to their writing skills. I think it’s fair to say that there are few negative aspects. Firstly, it goes without saying that the children will encounter difficulties in correct spelling and correct grammar is available for computer software and automatically corrects spelling errors. Furthermore, they can copy the models through the internet, so it is not imaginative in their writings.

em Đức E52 nộp bài speaking ạ

    1. What are newspapers like in your country?
Well, the first thing I should mention is that newspapers play an important role in our society. There are various kinds of newspapers, and each specializes in one certain aspect, such as politics, education, celebrities … However, nowadays many newspapers try to gain benefits by giving hot titles to attract readers, advertising more and more … Thus, the quality is deteriorating.

    2. Tell the some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and they can’t.
Well, when I was a child, my parents taught me how to be polite in speaking. Children have to fold their arms to greet older persons they meet. They are not allowed to interrupt people under any circumstances. In a classroom, pupils should raise their hands before speaking. Another point is that children should say “please” or “thank you” to express politeness.

    3. What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
I clearly state that using computers will have a negative effect on the writing skill of children. First of all, their handwritings are not neat and tidy because they do not spend enough time training. Secondly, they will lack of necessary skills to form a full sentence, which leads to making incorrect grammar. Last but not least, they are not good at spelling when using computer’s spell-check.

    1. In Viet Nam, the educational system is being changed. The teacher will give basic knowelge, necessary to students, they themselves have reseach base on information has been provided. This is the method which is the West has long applied. It shows the teacher will play a smaller role in education. The student can find the information from books, newspaper, internet,…etc. Internet as a library has many functions, such as seach very quickly,it can be move, and supply almost eveythings we need. However, the students have to use things they find from the internet to do excercises, expand the ideas. If they abuse the internet, it is not good. In the future, the students must be active to study and they can rely on internet resources.

    2. Well you know, in my country everybody think that match, physics, chemistry,.. are main subjects and art, music,…are side subjects. Consequently, parents often orient their children study main subjects. They think their children will easier to find a jobs after they graduate from university. If the childents study subjects like art, music or history,..they will difficult to find a good job. On the other hand, parents and education leader is being changed their mind. The education system is being equiped the necessary facilities for these subjects. Parents pay more attention and enable children to learn more these subjects.

    3. These days, in my country the children have to study many things from 5 years old. They learn English, math, read, write,…when they are in class one, they have to study in school, secondary school director. They have not time to play, to the rest, they have to learn to much. A subject, they have to study in school, secondary school director, tutor at home, each teacher has different method, so they do not know their methods to study. In additon, they have too much homework, they have not time to last review, remember knowelge, so the students learn inside classroom is enough.

    4. At the moment, have a lot of argue between scientists about the approaches of men and women to learning. A party show that, the men good men than women study. They give evidence that the men more intelligent, brain size is lager. The other party rejected this idea. They reseached and give the evidence prove that not there are any real differences in the approaches of men and women to learning about intellectual. If has differences, it due to basic biological, task and orient social.

    1. What are newspapers like in your country?
Well to be honest, in general I would say that there are 2 kinds of newspaper. The first one brings academic resources, such as on issues of economic, cultural, education and social. The newspaper has selected information sources, giving the reader the most accurate information. Its object is usually those aged 20 or older. Other one is a newspaper for young people, content that it brings are mainly entertainment information, or to reflect everything about your daily life .Many people from 10 to 18 years old often preferred this, they are updated the trend that young people care.
    2. Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and when they can’t.
In my country, children are educated from an early age. From 3 years old children begin to speak and they are taught the rules of conduct from them. In a country like Vietnam, in a family can have up to three generations: grandparents, parents and children. Therefore it is essential for children to learn to communicate with everyone in the family. When talking to someone, children are not allowed to talk , they must seek parental or grandparent when they want to do something. In addition, they must learn to thank and apologize. Moreover, today's children must also learn to be independent, not too dependent on their parents to have a high spirit of independence.
    3. What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
As far as I can tell that today's computers is becoming more popular and common. All people work or exchange over the Internet. For example : sending mail, submiting assignments or other documents ... This is convenient but actually reduces children's ability of writing. We can use computers to write a letter or a document very quickly, but when writing by hand, then felt bad. The letters on the computer very well and they are aligned insensitivity. I think children should be trained to write by hand more, handwriting voices character of each human being.

Question 1: What are newspapers like in your country?
In my country, there are many kinds of newspapers for many ages, many different sectors of society. There are "childhood mathematics" for children, "Hoa Hoc Tro" newspaper, "Vietnamese students" newspaper for teenager and newspaper of laws, economics, ... for adults. Each kind of newspapers consist of varied information which is suitable with reader. Newspapers that are for children and students are colorful and pictures. But newspapers, that are for adult, have more knowleage society and only few pictures. So, I suppose that’s more or less what newspapers are like in my country.

Question 2: Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk ad when they can’t.
As you know, children are taught the rules about talking from an early age by teachers, relatives. They are taught that they only speak when they are allowed to speak and do not speak without permission. For example, we have to greet adults, must apply for permission to do something and when adults ask, they have to answer a polite way ... Most importantly, they must learn to say two words: "sorry and please". However, there are also many cases children are not allowed to speak as they do not interrupt adults,...
Question 3: What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
Using computer can impact negatively on children's writing skills. Because computers have spell check function so children can be misspelled when they write by hand because there is not computer to spell-check for them. If they use computers too much, they would not be practical to hold the pen so sure that their handwriting is not beautiful. In my opinion, children should not be too dependent on computers to develop their writing skills.

1 What are newspapers like in your country?
Well, I suppose there are 2 bare kinds. One of them is newspaper article. It publics in every morning and consists of many sides in our life such as education, news, law, politics, etc… they help people get official information. The other kind is e- newspaper which has more circulations in Vietnam by using computer and telephone. However, this kind has less educated and hotter information in society, for example, scandals, accidents, news around the world. In addition, the way describing is been simpler. In my honest, the e – newspaper is more attractive for the young people in my country.
2 Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn such as when they can talk and when they can’t.
Well, in my country, Children are learnt the behavior when they begin saying and studying in class. They are taught that they can share their opinion or their recommend by putting their hand up in class. In addition, they also are taught the way saying “Good morning” when they meet an older person. Moreover, they are learnt about sending “thanks” to anyone that helps themselves, things like that.
3 What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
Well, in my opinion, using computer make children to be not good in their handwriting skill. Firstly, they do not know the way showing a hand writing report. They do not practice writing so they forget holding pen. Thus, the word is not tidy. Moreover, the spelling will not correct in an essay if they usually use checking computer.

Em Nguyễn Thị Thùy Trang-E52 nộp bài Speaking:
    1) What are newspapers like in your country?
Well you know newspapers seem to be integral part in everyday life. In my view, there are two main kinds of newspapers in my country. The first thing I should mention is the political commentary ones which are solemn and consist of economic information, state affairs matters. Another point which I could add is the entertainment ones that often provide much news in term of cinema, sport and super stars ’life…with beautifully decorated form. Nowadays the number of newspapers is increasing significantly but the officials should care more of their quantity.
    2) Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and when they can’t.
As the ancient persons said that “Careful what you speak for”, teaching manner of speaking to children is one of the most important thing for individuals. The first thing you need to know is that when you speaking to someone, you have to know who is speaking to cô you. They are old or young, relatives or customers from this you have suitable behavior. Also, I suppose I should say that plucking someone when they are saying is really impolite thing. You have to listen and say when necessary because no all of us know the way of listening. Something else that I need to comment on is that the keeping the conversation going. If someone asks you a question, you respond to it but remember to advertising one word answer and try to say at least a few words. As a result the talk becomes more exciting.
    3) What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
As you know the percentage of computer users in the world is going up daily. There is no denying that utilizing computer brings for us many benefits and conveniences. However it also leads to negative effects specially the children. Depending on computers lost is one of the causes which decrease the writing skills of children. The first thing I’d like to begin is that the writing essay, doing the homework by typing is not good for their pen using skill. In addition there is a grammar check form that falls down their conscious ability in dictation, sentences. The final matter I think everybody should care that practicing to write essay on paper not usually can effect on the children’ test result since in fact the examinations basically are taken place by writing.

Topic: Describe a wild animal that you find particularly interesting.

There are a lot of wild animals in the world . Of all the Dolphin is the animal I like best.
It is a mammal that lives in the sea. There are different types of dolphins such as bottle nosed dolphins and an orca/killer whale (it is a dolphin, not a whale). Dolphins have extremely hard tails and flippers. They use them to swim. They have blowholes on the top of their heads. However they can’t breathe under water like fish because they don't have gills. They can hold their breath for very long though. Normally they are blue or grey in color. Especially dolphins communicate efficiently by making a unique signature whistle that may help individual dolphins recognize each other, collaborate and perform several other kinds of communication.
In fact that I have never directly viewed a dolphin only seen them from television and stories. However I feel extremely them closely, friendly and intelligent. The things are reasons I like most it than any other animals.

    Question 1 :

Well, i must say there are 2 main kinds of newspapers in my country. Firstly, it’s political, economic and more serious ones. They are usually about politics, events and problems about traffic, environments, life,... in Viet Nam and all over the world. Secondly, it’s entertainment news. Usually, it’s about celebrities, famous people, actors, singers, ... and tentertain events which happen everyday in social life. Eventhough, there are still rumous and rubbish news which i don’t like about newspaper in my country.

    Question 2:

Well, i am a student and i’m always taught to be polite when speaking, especially to adult and older people. You must listen carefully and wait until they finish speaking. You know – it’s really rude to interrupt people when they are in the middle of a conversation – it shows you don’t respect the others. Plus, you ‘d better use suitable words for suitable people who are talking to you. Beside when in class, you need to raise your hand up or ask the teacher if you want to speak and remember : don’t interrupt the teacher. Another thing is the attitude and volume when speaking – it shows respectation and also politeness words such as : thanks, please, sorry, ...

    Question 3:

Well, i think using computers effect their hand writing skills badly because Internet language is sometimes different from hand writing. For example : we write “ CU2NITE” in stead of : see you tonight. Another things is : we don’t write full sentences and commas,.... on the internet, because we want quickness. It effects their vocabulary, writing skills and speaking, which i think are very important for children in the future, because there is already computer’s spell check.
