Dear Nhat,

As you know, I am in Sapa, Lao Cai. I have a long trip and be tired to come here. But I do not regret to this trip. People here is gentle and also very enthusiatic. Such as when I just arrive at the Lao Cai station at about 5:00 am, it is still very early. I am looking confused to fine a bus to go to Sapa which far from Lao Cai station about 30km.
Fotunately, The local man tells me the bus stops and guides me what to do and where to go in Sapa. That is kind man. After that I come to Sapa on time to breakfast at 7:00am.
Sapa is wonderful, cool, fresh air. I rest a bit and start to climb Ham Rong mountain, enjoy the view in Thac Bac. I am visting Cat Cat village, they live very close to nature, and sell to us gifts nice silver with right price. I also visit somewhere as ancient rocks, Bac Ha market and I am buying to you a gift. Hoping to see you to soon to give you.

Dear Trang,
I did visit Da Nang city few months back. Da Nang, a coastal city in the central region, is a place where you can relax and visit many beautiful places. The city of Da Nang is located close to plains, hills, mountains, islands, and the sea so Da Nang is always filled with fresh air. Its climate is very hot compared to many other cities and there are many historical and cultural sites in and around the city that you visit such as The Museum of Cham Sculpture, The Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, the charming Han River, Ba Na Hill. I like the Son Tra Beach with smooth, white sand most - an ideal place to play sports and enjoy fishing or swimming.The cleanliness and the proper planning of the city is completely exceptional which has no parallel in the area. In additon, I have a chance to travel My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Old Town – two world cutural heritages and take some photos of it. I love the delicious food served there, especially the fresh seafood .They are hotter and more spicy than I used to taste and different from the northern cooking style. The people are so friendly and warm. They are always ready to help the others. I find this city very charming and ideal place to relax in and I hope that I can come back there again.

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention, one of which is that the expanse of English as a dominant global language is an inevitable trend. This trend impacts on all aspects of the areas including cultures, economy, society, and others. I’m in favour of the practice that the dominance of English as a global language will bring about more advantages than its disadvantages. My ideas are reflected in the following paragraphs.
First, the rise of a global language is a huge effect on the world, connects closely all different cultures over the world, becomes a bridge of mutilcultural communication. One person could go to wherever they want without being afraid of dissimilar language, and moreover they can easily intergrate into the indigenous community in there. On the other hand, when the whole planet can watch the media of the whole world, in a global language, the minds of the world’s citizens will be made “globist”, not “nationalist”.
The second reason I should mention is that the global language is English, which would stimulate the volume of international trade increasingly, for most of the best economic developed contries use English as their native language. Thereby, there are a lot of chances for all the countries do business together and push up their economy faster even the English-speaking ones or not.
Besides, it is said that the rise of global language – English is reducing the language diversity. This perspective is flawed because of having the average level of the global language that people could use in daily communication, they don’t have to drop their native language.
The third reason I support is that the social and political situation will have better improvements. In education field, mostly, the global education systems with essential and main language using – English, has been making compulsory to all levels, from kindergarten to PhD level research seminars on all topics. Besides, the rise of the global language – English help people even wherever they are, could find and update the latest news they want.
From what has been discussed, one can reach only this conclusion that the advantages of the expanse of the global language are much more than its disadvantages, especially they link all people on the planet more close-knit.

The graph illustrates the trend in salary of some countries from 1993 to 2003. According to the graph that in a decade the salary paid level fluctuated slightly.
It can be seen that the highest percentage increased in salary level was in 1998 and the lowest salary level was in 2002, 6% and just over 1% in turn. It is clear that, during 1993 to 1994, the salary jumped rapidly to 4%, it was not only doubled 1993 but also ranked No.2. However, we can see from 1994 to half of the year 1995 it dropped quickly and this level was only just under 3%. After that, the salary level grew up significantly during over the latter half of 1995 to 1998. In other hand, after rising, during only one year later, it plummeted dramatically to near 2.8%. During 1999 to 2000, this level increased slowly but it felt sharply to just over 1% in 2002. One year later, the salary paid level rose to 2% was same as 1993.
In conclusion, in decade, the salary which the employees were paid in some countries was erratic.

The graph illustrates the number of visits among two new sites of music choice and of pop parade. In general, from 1st to 15th day, both visits to two sites on the web go up afterward.

As can be seen from the graph, from 1st to 7th day, while the number of visits to the site of pop parade drops four times continually from (120.000) to nearly (30.000), the site of music choice varies slightly with the high number of 60.000 visits on 3rd day and the lowest of 20.000 ones on 2nd and 4th day.

It is clear from the upward period that the tendency of a drammatic jump in the highest number of visits approximately 170.000 to pop parade site on 5th day. It has over three times as many as itself at the lowest point on 7th day (30.000) and has over eight times in compared with the other site . The number of visits to music choice site on the web, peaks at just over (120.000), has approximately 6 times as many as itself on 9th day.

To sum up, the visits of the pop parade on the web is higher than of music choice.

There are many different views on this issue, nevertheless, I do suppose that expanding of international media has negative influence on every cultural homogeniety.
In many countries on the world, the use of mass media as a spiritual food indispensable for any ages. Particularly, the internet and cable television and some other international medias have been creating a global information links, whereby the demand for social life of the audiences also tend to the same.
I can cite some evidences such as, the online fashion trend or the hair style from one morden country on cable TV programs will affect rapidly to large amount of young people and even to young people of other countries; A song on a beautiful movie can create a wave of great music for mass audiences in both domestic and foreign.
In addition, the information on International Media are regulary updated and very cheap so everyone can use it easily. Besides this, media is usually used for the masses, and the information from the media are also generally considered mainstream, therefore media actually impact expandly on the citizens’s life.
Thanks to the impact of the International Media that making the diversity and intergration in cultural of every countries.
From some point above show that International Media always influence widenly in cultural and social life.

The line graph indicates the number of salary of different countries from 1993 to 2003. As you can see, there are the fluctuation of theses figures.
According to the statistics, the percentage of income increased rapidly from 1993 to 1994 and still rose suddenly from 1996 to 1998 as well as went up steadily betwwen 2002 and 2003. This figure reached a peak in 1998 at 6.
Inadditional, we can see that there was a very sharp drop in the rate of wage from 1998 to 1999, it continue to dramatic fall between 2000 and 2002 and also small decline from 1994 to 1995. The situation bottomed out a low point in 2002 at 1.
However, from 1995 to 1996 and from 1999 to 2000, rate of income stayed the same.
On the whole, from the data it may be estimated that the percentage of salary of above countries will still fluctuate year by year in the future.

Firstly, percent growth in salaries was increasing between 1993 and 1994, and it was going down during two years later. However, the rate was skyrocketing in three years period and reached to the peak in 1998 at 6 percents. The growth was plunging over the period 1999 to 2002, even though it climbed in 2000. Finally, the growing wages rate dropped to bottom in 2002 at about 1 percent. Nevertheless, it recovered in 2003. In conclusion, it can be clearly seen that the fluctuation of the wages over ten years.

TOPIC 3: THERE IS A DISAGREEMENT ON THE IMPACT OF INCREASED BUSINESS AND CULTURE CONTACT BETWEEN COUNTRIES ON A COUNTRY’S IDENTITY. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

Exchange of economy and culture are parts which cannot lack of development of countries. However, two hands there are right hand and left hand. This essay will present both advantage and disadvantage of effects of exchanging economy and culture between countries on a country’s identity.
Firstly, commercial activities promote strongly the development economy of each country. Foreign investors who come from risker countries will bring money, technology to agricultural countries which are developed slowly countries and they build factories, industrial areas, make a lot of job for local people. Thus, living stander rises quickly. Rising economy is based on protecting and developing indigenous culture. However, exchange of economy between different areas always goes with imported culture. For instance, since 1986, Vietnamese government has implemented “Open the door” policy, the economy develops strongly, besides, culture is diversity such as it is not only Vietnamese culture but also there are Korean, Japanese, Western culture… Citizen’s knowledge is expanded.
Secondly, you cannot eat your cake and have it too. Similarity to good culture, the bad culture also goes into. It leads to lose true lifestyle of the large number of adolescent and other young people. Increasing social evil is hot problem and there is any way solution. According to Dantri.vn which is famous newspaper in Vietnam, evil problems such as prostitution, drug addiction… have risen sharply in near years. Furthermore, many young people tend of studying foreign culture and forgetting tradition of their country. As a result country’s identity is becoming more and more extinct. It’s clearly that in Vietnam, young people are keen on listening foreign music than traditional music Vietnamese.
In the light of these facts, one can conclude that exchange economy and culture are not either positive or negative to protect an indigenous culture. This is difficult math which should be solved.
