Nothing like Fried Fish brings to mind happy days of sun, beach, white sand and turquoise blue seas. ¨ They are very fried¨ served with rice with coconut, fried plantains and salad. This delicacy is available to those who live or visit the city of Miami, more specifically in the Midtown area, the heart of Miami.

This original dish; which is prepared in various corners of Colombia, is part of our menu, at El Zambo Street Food, and it is a delight. We serve it with authentic rice with coconut, although we have options for those who prefer to choose white rice, it is also accompanied by a couple of fresh and crispy patacones served with sour cream and a salad, always well dressed with olive oil and lemon. An authentic recipe based on tradition.

There are many ways to cook fish, we work with fresh fish. We carefully clean the fish, make cuts on both sides so that it cooks evenly, then season it with salt and pepper and then pass it through flour before frying. We preheat the oil in a container where it can be completely submerged, we keep it under the hot oil for between 5 and 7 minutes depending on the size of the fish.
